Privacy Policy

Health data deserves a higher standard than a website usually applies. This explains exactly what we hold, why we hold it, who else ever sees it, and how you get it changed or deleted.

1Who we are

Quick Walk Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre (“Quick Walk”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and the physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre at 3rd Floor, City Mall Plus, Opp. Shiv Hanuman Temple, Near Kanta Chouraha, Jhotwara, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302012. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, and you are the Data Principal.

This policy covers this website, our WhatsApp and telephone enquiry channels, and the clinical records we hold about you as a patient. Questions about any of it go to info@quickwalk.in or +91 86193 28981.

2What we collect

We collect only what a specific purpose requires. In practice that is three groups.

Information you give us

  • Name, mobile number, and email address when you book, enquire or message us.
  • The area of pain or condition you describe, so we can route you to the right clinician.
  • Your preferred appointment date, time and location, including a home-visit address.
  • Age and sex where clinically relevant to assessment.

Health data we create during care

  • Assessment findings — range of movement, strength testing, functional scores.
  • Diagnosis, treatment plan, session notes, and re-assessment measurements.
  • Reports and scans you choose to share with us, and referral correspondence.

Health data is treated as the most sensitive category we hold. It is never used for advertising, never shared with an advertising platform, and never used to build audience segments.

Information collected automatically

  • Pages viewed, approximate location by city, device and browser type.
  • The source that brought you here — a search, an ad, a social post, or a direct visit.

3Why we use it, and on what basis

PurposeData usedBasis

Care is never conditional on marketing consent. You can decline every marketing message and still book, attend and be treated exactly the same. They are two separate permissions on our forms because they are two separate decisions.

4Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only in these situations.

  • Service providers who run parts of our operation under contract — appointment and records hosting, WhatsApp and SMS delivery, email delivery, and payment processing. They may use your data only to perform that service for us.
  • Advertising platforms (Meta and Google) receive a record that a booking or enquiry occurred, along with a cryptographically hashed version of your email or mobile number so the event can be matched to an ad click. They receive no health data, no condition, and no treatment information — only that a conversion happened.
  • Other clinicians — a surgeon, physician or diagnostic centre — where we refer you, or where you ask us to send your records.
  • Insurers, where you ask us to support a reimbursement claim.
  • Authorities, where the law requires disclosure.

Some of these providers store data outside India. Where that happens, transfers are limited to countries not restricted by the Central Government under section 16 of the DPDP Act.

5How long we keep it

  • Clinical records — retained for a minimum of three years from your last consultation, in line with prevailing medical-records practice.
  • Financial records — eight years, as required by tax and companies legislation.
  • Enquiries that never became appointments — deleted after 24 months.
  • Marketing contact details — deleted promptly once you withdraw consent.
  • Website analytics — retained in aggregated form only after 14 months.

6Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
  • Correct anything inaccurate, and complete anything incomplete.
  • Erase your data, except where we must retain it by law.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

To exercise any of these, write to info@quickwalk.in. We respond within 30 days. Withdrawing marketing consent is faster still — reply STOP to any WhatsApp or SMS message, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

7How we protect it

  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Access to clinical records is restricted to the clinicians involved in your care, and is logged.
  • Row-level access rules are enforced by the database itself, not only by the application.
  • Staff are bound by confidentiality obligations as a condition of employment.

If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India without undue delay.

8Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep the site working — they hold your session and your booking progress, and cannot be switched off.

Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads) load only after you accept them. They tell us which pages and campaigns lead to bookings. Declining them changes nothing about the site you see or the care you receive.

You can change your choice at any time from the cookie link in the footer.

9Children

We treat patients under 18 only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who books on their behalf and provides the contact details we hold. We do not knowingly collect data directly from a child, and we do not use a child’s data for advertising or behavioural tracking of any kind.

10Contact and grievances

Our Grievance Officer handles all data-protection queries and complaints:
